And just like that, July arrives tomorrow! June was a quiet month for Sweet Home Photography, relatively speaking, but there is a lot happening behind the scenes that I'm excited to share with you soon!
I started the month with the Alzheimer's Association, celebrating the kickoff for the Walk to End Alzheimer's on a beautiful night at ISquare--complete with ice cream for dinner! Alzheimer's research is something that matters a lot to my family, and I'm so glad to be able to help support this cause. I'll be photographing the walk on October 3rd, and I'd love to see you there! Register here 💜
Next up: GRAPE's annual gala! This year's theme was "The GRAPE Escape," and I had a blast capturing this Wednesday vacation at Ravenwood. The last blog post covers more about why I love being a member of GRAPE, and you can read it here! 🌴
If you're new here (welcome!), you might not know that taking photographs of a house that was important to me is what inspired the idea for Sweet Home Photography--many years ago! This month I had the pleasure of capturing a very special home for one of my very favorite people ❤️
I also had a great time spending an evening at the Village at Unity, and, as usual, they threw a fantastic event! A petting zoo, food truck, and the Skycoasters! What a way to kick off the summer..and as an added bonus, I got to reunite with two more of my favorite former neighbors! 😎
And last but not least, I spent a morning with the instructors at a place that supports both my physical and mental health, Pure Barre! These ladies are fun, and they are STRONG! 💪
July is shaping up to be eventful, to say the least! On the calendar so far:
-Updated headshots for my friends at the Legacy at Clover Blossom
-High school senior portraits
-Two family sessions
-A cruise ship party at the Village at Park Crescent
-Pride parade with Clover Blossom
-The Brighton Chamber's annual golf tournament
-Caring with Pride, sponsored by Clover Blossom and Lifespan
-A sock hop at the Village at Parklands
-Photo club at Unity!
If you'd like to add to my list, I'd love to see you!
